- oplossing
Opdracht:
U mag in elke zin maximaal één woord vervangen, verwijderen of toevoegen.
1. They always control your passport at the airport, so make sure you have it on you.
2. Can you give me a raw idea of your plans?
3. I am happy to tell you that I passed for my exam.
4. Funny that you mention that, because it remembers me of the time I worked in Paris.
5. Mr Chairman, you have every right to be angry, and I am really sorry I am too late for this meeting.
Antwoorden:
1. [control] = [check]
2. [raw] = [rough]
3. [for] x
4. [remembers] = [reminds]
5. [too] x
1. Dit is Dunglish. Een paspoort controleren is in het Engels to check a passport.
Dus: I passed my exam of, de negatieve variant: I failed my exam.
4. To remember betekent ‘zich herinneren’.
